Baker builds the walls, carries the low voltage scope on our contract, commissions the access control, and integrates the systems that make the space intelligent. The specialty work is delivered through qualified, Nevada-licensed specialty subcontractors — held on Baker’s contract, coordinated by Baker’s project manager, and driven against the same schedule as the build.

Can one contractor really handle construction and low voltage?

Yes — that is exactly what Baker is structured to do. The construction and the technology scope run under one contract, one schedule, and one project manager. The specialty trades are performed by qualified, Nevada-licensed specialty subcontractors that Baker holds and coordinates directly.

Do you self-perform the low voltage work?

We deliver it under our contract through licensed specialty subcontractors — the same way we deliver mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. What you get from Baker is single-source accountability: one bid, one schedule, and one phone call when you need something.

Can you add access control or cabling to an existing building?

Yes. Retrofit low voltage is common work for us — we survey existing pathways, work after hours where needed, and coordinate door hardware changes so the building stays secure and operating throughout.

What happens when the network vendor and the builder disagree?

They can’t — they answer to the same project manager. That is the entire point of carrying the scope on one contract: conflicts get resolved in Baker’s schedule meeting, not in change orders against your budget.
